A two-night minimum stay ensures you enjoy a meaningful time of rest and reflection at O Refúgio.

O Refúgio is a Christian retreat, farm, and vineyard above the Douro River in Northern Portugal — inviting people locally and globally to slow down and dwell in the moment to encounter restoration and renewal.

We offer a simple, beautiful tree-laden space 30 miles east of Porto to unplug and connect with God through community, creativity, creation care, and contemplation.

Our two newly renovated Studios have private bathrooms and a shared kitchenette. Each studio sleeps two (two singles or one double).

Note: The studios are for individuals, couples, or small families utilizing both studios for four. Groups with over four guests can request a stay in Casa Grande here.
