Refúgio operates as a non-profit ministry dedicated to creating a simple, beautiful place to unplug and connect with God through community, creativity, creation care, and contemplation.

We offer a sliding scale donation model for your stay, trusting that those who can pay your sustainable rate will do so, and those who need a discount won’t be hindered from coming to O Refùgio.

The core team working on-site raise their own financial support to serve the retreat center — helping to keep the guest costs at O Refùgio approachable to all.

Regular Donation Rate: ( 65€ per night ) Covers all physical costs of your stay, including our ability to hire local staff for housekeeping and land maintenance as well as ongoing restoration needs.

Local Ministry Rate: (30% discount**)
Covers only the basic costs of your stay.

OUR TERMS AND CONDITIONS	50% deposit required to book reservation, full payment due 15 days before your stay. HOUSE RULES: Check-in between 3PM-8PM / Checkout before 11AM 2 adult guests maximum per studio. Children must be closely supervised and respect the quiet atmosphere. We do not allow: Pets on the property. Candles, incense, or smoking in (or near) the room. Reserving under your name without staying in the room yourself. Parties or events without consent. CANCELATIONS: - To receive a full refund, guests must cancel within 48 hours of booking, and the cancellation must occur at least 14 days before check-in. - Cancellations 14 or more days before check-in but not within 48 hours of booking, will receive a 50% refund of total invoice. - Cancellations within two weeks of a stay will not receive a refund as the room has been made unavailable to other guests. - NOTE: All refunds are minus transaction fees.
